Penn holds a UK Specials Manufacturers Licence and manufactures unlicensed medicines ("specials") to GMP standards at its MHRA-approved production facility.

All API's and raw materials are sourced from GMP accredited suppliers which have been audited by Penn's QP team, and all materials are subjected to full analytical testing before use. All materials of animal origin are supported by TSE certification.

Formulations are manufactured in class 100,000 GMP rooms by Penn's fully GMP trained production staff, supported by comprehensive in-process QC, blend and final formulation analytical testing, QA documentation review and full QP release.

In line with UK/EU legislation, Penn Specials are only supplied against bona fide orders from registered wholesalers, pharmacies, dispensing doctors and hospitals to satisfy named patient prescriptions.
